Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow...

Located southwest of San Antonio, Texas, nestled in the rolling countryside away from the hustle & bustle of the city in the rural community of Devine -a place where the stars in the sky shine bright on a hot summers night and where, as I like to explain, "listening to the howling of the coyotes in the evenings instead of the howling of sirens and the buzzing noise of the city is "LIFE AT IT'S BEST"

Our orchard was established in 2010 with the planting of our initial 75 "test" trees. Through the years, our family (grandchildren) and orchards have steadily grown making each harvest an expanding and exciting time. The addition of Phillips II (a nearby olive orchard) in 2016 formally provided the "s" to Phillips Olive Orchard"s". With annual expansion our aim is to have 5000 trees in production in the coming years. In line with our "Farm-to-Table" & "Our family's orchards to Your family's table" philosophy, In addition to olive trees, current expansion plans includes the development of a "U-Pick-M" fruit, berry and fresh herb orchard/farm and venue for family fun.

While olives are indeed our passion, inspired by simple country living, nature's bounty and our culinary specialties, D's Kitchen Creations was introduced in 2017. Utilizing what mother nature has put before us, our savory Jellies, Marinades and Homemade Candies and Condiments blend traditional family recipes with a distinctive "South Texas Twist". Providing unique annual and seasonal treats with wholesome country goodness. Please check back often as our pantry updates regularly.

THE GREAT VALENTINES WEEK FREEZE of 2021

We have overcome many challenges and learned many valuable lessons through the years - from South Texas droughts, bloom & harvest rains, hail storms, minor freezes and of course the 2020 pandemic - The unprecedented 2021 Valentines Freeze has been devastating. Effecting not only our orchards but most of the Texas Olive Industry. The sever freeze decimated orchards around the state, killing young trees and knocking mature trees to their knees (the ground), we like others are in the process of assessing loss and entering into a "restore-rehabilitate and revitalize" mode.

As the saying goes it's not how you are knocked down, but how you get back up-  We are up, brushing off the dirt (or snow in this case) and determined to rebuild stronger. While the losses and damage have been great we are resolved to endure this latest set back, refocusing not so much on expansion at this time but rebuilding our orchards and enhancing our operations and orchards.

To all of our family and friends we sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love, support and encouragement.
